It is time once again for Target’s semi-annual toy clearance sale.
This will vary from store to store but if you are interested in this sale, now is the time to start checking things out! As you can see from my photo above there were tons of clearance tags on every aisle at my store.
Typically in July Target moves out a lot of toys to make room for new stuff.
They have a similar sale in January but that is also the time people are in stores a lot to return holiday gifts and bargain shop- so I usually find better deals in July.
Each store will vary as to when they mark things down. My store is all over the place with things at 30% off and lots of things at 50% off and I spotted a handful of toys at 70% off. They should all go to 70% off eventually but obviously the more popular items like Legos probably won’t make it to 70% off.
According to the Target clearance schedule- the toy department usually goes on sale on Wednesdays. So that is likely the best day to shop for new discounts- or perhaps Thursday if your store doesn’t get them all done.
So keep an eye out when you shop, remember to double check things with the scanner and please come back and report back what you find!
I am thinking most stores will be at 50% off right now and possibly get marked down to 70% off on the 23rd or 30th.
